1998

The First Oven

Dewey opens a 500 sq ft shop on W 5th Ave with a single wood-fired oven, four tables, and a dream. The line stretches to the street on opening day.

2003

Deweys Expands

Five years in, deweys pizza doubles its kitchen capacity and adds a full dine-in room. The signature "Dewey's Classic" pie wins its first Columbus food award.

2009

Second Location Opens

Riding a wave of loyal fans, Dewey's opens its second Columbus location. The farm-to-table sourcing program launches, cementing dewey's commitment to freshness.

2015

Online Ordering Launches

Dewey's pizza goes digital with online ordering and delivery, bringing handcrafted pies directly to doorsteps across Columbus and its surrounding communities.

2019

20-Year Celebration

Dewey's marks two decades of pizza perfection with a city-wide celebration, community fundraiser, and the launch of the fan-voted "Legend" pizza — still on the menu today.

2024 — Today
